Happy Hoodie Baby Sweater

Recently my SIL gave birth to a baby and i wanted to gift a sweater and so checked on sm patterns i had frm "Cute crochet for tiny tots"by Helen Ardley..my sis had gt it for me....

I wanted to do a hooded one , n so tis pattern lukd apt ....bt i was really tensed ifi cud finish off with te exixting wool i had ...bt luckily i found a local yarn shop here n the blue thread which i wanted.....

AND here is a pic of what i sent for the baby....

Basically its all single crochet throuhout and the stripes was what attracted me to try it out....The pattern used white n red stipes which ws very gud,, bt i had tse colours oly of baby wools....
And i was fascinated wit te hood too coz havent tried anything wit a hood till now n to my surprise , tat was te easiest part....

Crochet anklet

We recently had a beach party..n i very badly wanted an anklet n i really wanted it to be a crocheted one., n finally i made it!

i needed sm beads to add on, bt  dint hv ne....so i took one of my old earrings hoops n pulled it apart....n used te beads of tat....
i put in the beads in the thread (pink cotton varigated) through the other end, n took one bead at a time for one stitch with the crochet hook....came out easily.....just have to get te hang of taking te beads one at a time..tre are lots of videos available for reference..

i used single crochet ..one row throughout , n do according te desired  length ....i planned to wear a pink dress , n so took to tis colour thread.....   :)

My timepass scrunchie...


cant really call this a project..bt wanted to do a crochet scrunchie for a long tim..tot wil giv a try n ended up using my furryyarns ...n i made this ...not a flower but a round "thing" on the elastic.....
i tot it wil be gud for a sidepony....
we had a BBQ lately...n i wanted to wear a sidepony..so i gave tis a try....
its just double crochet throughout n again novelty yarn to te rescue..ur mistakes are goin to be hidden!!!! :D

i hv used oly double crochet throughout.....n since i hv used the novwelty yarn.. evn if sm stitches r missed u wont gt caught....i used a pink cotton thread plus the novelty yarn togthr coz otherwise its very difficult to work on it..


I cut off a button pair frm my hubby's old shirt n stitched it on te side so that it remains intact....


i used the cotton pink yarn to do a pouch to hold on te cards ..used in sc throughout

My furry crochet purse

The wallet that i had been using was in a terrible shape..so had been thinking for smtime to get a new one n had been lukin out..bt somehow just coudnt findd wat i wanted..then finally i decided to get a custom made one....a crochet purse..in that way i tot i cud make use of my novelty yarns too ..i hv loots of tem..n i was really lost on its utility.... i do feel it has loots of amateur luk in it...but it sure has given be lotsa confidence to kickstart a couple of new crochet ptojects tooooo.. neways heres te end result guys... will upload more pics including te inside of it soon....have to go now byeee

Crochet Bangle to start with........

Just feel like kicking myself for taking ONE whole year for a new post... Just c te dates!!! phew.. neways , a few days bak, ma friend was tokin abt jwellery making...n suddenle got inspired and started on this bangle.....i had some old threads n a very old bangle ...a plain one.....so tot wil try tis one..... n i hv a gud mind to make more colourful ones.....earrings esp ...i love em..... Am sooo happy to be posting again..n reading allte wunderful projects of al ma friends...lovin it!!!!!

hiiii everyone....

i have been thinking of crochet too much lately..........n tat brought me back to te blog...Its soooooooooo gud to c all of u enjoin n sharing all ur wunderful work.
I happened to c sm real masterpiece work across te world..
All u guys are my inspiration....

My baby keeps me real busy , so dont get much time..BUT............i am determined to be back on my heels..... My hands just wudnt sit idly lik this.. THEY ARE CROCHET CRAZY....

well....i hav been thinking of making a shawl for my mom bfore te winter.... but i jus have looots of eyelash yarn n nothing else much really..so i am searchin for a pattern which i can do wit tose eyelash yarns.....

n it seems tre are no patterns which i can do solely wit eyelash....also feel its difficult to keep track of te stitches with eyelash.... hmm...i hope sm of u guys can help me..

since i was thinkin..n jus thinking of restarting crochet..n was jus keeeping on thinking n nothing much (hee hee) .... i thot i better put a post, so tat i get te boost n energy from all of u wunderful crocheters out tre....

Moreover today jovia's mom put a pic of Jovia in JOVIA'S DRESS in FB....which is making my hands even more crochet thirsty today ...hee hee..
