Back to crochet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hiiii everyone....

i have been thinking of crochet too much lately..........n tat brought me back to te blog...Its soooooooooo gud to c all of u enjoin n sharing all ur wunderful work.
I happened to c sm real masterpiece work across te world..
All u guys are my inspiration....

My baby keeps me real busy , so dont get much time..BUT............i am determined to be back on my heels..... My hands just wudnt sit idly lik this.. THEY ARE CROCHET CRAZY....

well....i hav been thinking of making a shawl for my mom bfore te winter.... but i jus have looots of eyelash yarn n nothing else much really..so i am searchin for a pattern which i can do wit tose eyelash yarns.....

n it seems tre are no patterns which i can do solely wit eyelash....also feel its difficult to keep track of te stitches with eyelash.... hmm...i hope sm of u guys can help me..

since i was thinkin..n jus thinking of restarting crochet..n was jus keeeping on thinking n nothing much (hee hee) .... i thot i better put a post, so tat i get te boost n energy from all of u wunderful crocheters out tre....

Moreover today jovia's mom put a pic of Jovia in JOVIA'S DRESS in FB....which is making my hands even more crochet thirsty today ...hee hee..

Blog Anniversary....

Hey ....as of now I dont hv any projects to flaunt....dont think will be able to start on a new one for sm time..

But today is the 2nd anniversary of my blog.. and i am very happy that over these 2 years , i happened to make friends with some of the most talented people around....

Just a peep!!!!

Just tot will hv a peep into my blog ...of course now te baby is fast asleep...
Now slowly getting adjusted to te new schedule...Busy changing diapers and having nightouts...but must say, am enjoin te perks very much :)
but i do miss crochet sooooo much!!!

I can c everyone busy crocheting n m feelin really jealous..... so now waiting for te correct time to restart crochet..
Meanwhile i discovred tat SEPT 12TH was International Crochet Day!!!!
i know it is a late discovery,a new friend KJIRSTEN had it posted in her blog....
well....missed it tis time as 13th was my delivery date...so hoping to celebrate it next year....:)

Birth Announcement.....

Dear friends.....

Happily announcing the birth of my son , born on 13th september 2010.
We named him JOHAAN meaning "God is gracious".

Tat explains y i hv nt been crocheting or blogging for a while...so i guess i will be busy with baby Johaan for a while...Very happy i gt my own crochet baby model now..hee hee...
waiting to dig into crochet ....Till then.. HAPPY CROCHETING everybody.....

Baby cloth edging #4

This is the final edging that i did.since i hardly hv 5 -6 days left, i tot i wil keep away all crochet for sm time.
Btw, This edging is of my fav pattern, katherine wheel stitch , i used two colours, white and varigated green.

This edging is worked by a thicker thread and a bigger hook.
The pattern is actually a picot bt aftr doin the 1st round ,
i felt just that was better and din quite like the luk of picot.
SO stopped with the first round. I saw this pattern while searchin in google.
don remmbr frm wre i gt this exactly.


Neways heres the pattern:

Row 1: In 4th ch from hook make dc, ch 2, dc * skip ch, in next ch make dc, ch 2, dc. Repeat from * to end. Ch 3, turn.

Row 2: * 4 sc in ch 2 space, picot. Repeat from * to end. Fasten off


Bt i did just the first rnd.
And added the yellow satin thru the blanket stitches!

Baby cloth edging #2

This is the second cloth edging....worked wit a multicolour

Thread :size 10
Hook :size 4.
Pattern : SC around, Then in 1st SC * {(make 1 TRC,1 Ch )6 times,1 TRC, skip 2 sc make sc in 3rd sc}*. repeat from * to * throughout.slipstich to join.



If u guys remember, the thread is the same as this DOILY which i had been making.
Then i gt bored with the doily, and pulled bak the thread....and used it for this edging...had to buy an extra roll for this tho..
I realize how easy it is to pull the thread and squander all the tedious work done.. guess tat is the difference b/w make and break.....takes a second to let go, while it takes hours or years to make it!..be it crochet or anythin!
hmm...crochet is makin me wiser ..hee hee...and teaching me patience too!!!
