The new Mega Project under progress

Yes.... I have started a new project....hmmm infact two new projects...
My favourite..Baby clothing!!!
One is a sweater ...another is a dress which i am planning to gift my friend's baby Jovia. It's her baptism on Aug 1st and i tot i wil complete it bfore tat....Its almost done...
I just have to do the ruffles at the bottom and the sleeves....
I tot I wil also make a lace shoes which will go along with the dress...IF time permits.
The sweater on the other hand, is almost done but i tot i wil take my own time for that since i suddenly gt a deadline for the dress...
I was planning on gifting Jovia one, and just tot her baptism was te correct time.

I was a bit sceptical abt the size tho...bt i gt sm expert advice from the designer Sandy Furlough herself......so shld be ok...
The design is posted in Ravelry ...and by day aftr 2morrow ..the pic of my Mega project shld be here :)

ooh...i am soo excited by seeing how its getting completed slowly .....

My Latest Projects

As promised these are some of my latest crochet projects...

The shawl and cap is for my dear sis....n she already left for NJ with em.... :)

And the blue bordered cap is for my BIL.

I tot plain black cap is too simple ...so just added tat blue tinge of a border....guess it came out quite well.

Crochet-wagon on the move once again........ :)

March, April , May...Phew..... pretty long break i guess...

but the best part is that i hv started crocheting again.... :)
isn't tat gud news?
I used up all my eyelash yarns.....i had git 3 generously big balls each of pista green, red n black eyelashes.....
now i hv one ball each of them left..... n i am savin them for last touch ups instead of consumin them al at once.

I made one eyelash scarf mixing these three for my sis in law
n two caps for kathy too.....
unfortunately i don hv te pics....
if i happen to get the pics ..i wil def post them.... its really gud..i liked em...
i din hve ne time to make for joshy chettan tho.... maybe a beanie or smthin..bt no time....


n the best part is that Anithi (my sis) has got yarn for me from NY ,Lion brand baby soft yarn beautiful colours...n i am dying to dig into those colours......

She said the shop was sooooo cute that she felt like buying even more.....
It seems tere were crochet classes also goin on....

hmmm....sounds really intresting..... but i hvnt cm across any such treats anywre in kuwait tho....
So.... my teacher is Youtube, Art of crochet by Teresa, and of course Ravelry :)

i can c all my friends busy crocheting, exchanging patterns, the ones tat i follow givin away Giveaways n all in all, diving into crochet..
i got a lot of wool, lots of eyelashes , normal cotton , exotic colours , wen this time i went to Bangalore....but i don feel lik doin anythin......may b coz of my present physical condition.
I give all the blame to these mood swings to tat.

hmmm.... i hv got some orders too.....from my friend to make her a scarf.....hmmmm...i hope i gt a good start soon

No projects to flaunt :(

I have not started any new crochet projects, neither have I anything to complete too :(

I am a bit busy now, My in laws have joined us for a period of 3 months, to enjoi Kuwait, so now i keep them company ..no time to crochet....hope i wont forget my crochet skills....errr...i dont have "skills" as such.....

so its like every weekend we go out to any place (very few places to chill out here)...

n soon it will be repetitions.....

but if u have company any place any no. of times is gud i feel....

Last to last week we had gone to Entertainment city , Doha, and had a gud time.

We just got time to get into the Roller Coaster , the train coaster, then the train and 2 water jouneys...n saw two 4d movies

This is at a height of 120 m. There is a revolving restaurant above and a viewing sphere. If u are in Kuwait, U will visit this place min 50 times....whoever comes to our house to c kuwait...we take em here, obviously we also go along with them....n so 50 times or more :)

i really tot my blog wud be restin in peace... hee hee, its been sooo long since i gave a post...!!!
but i dint have any new projects to flaunt ....
n guess who is to blame for that lag in my projects????... its a new KNIFE..
yes, i got a new knife from LuLu hypermarket, it luked gud, n so, but turned out to be a villain, i inaugrated it cuttin my left hnd ring finger edge, i was preserving the part which got off for a few days.. Phew!!!

so i cudn take on with my dear hobby coz of a Knife!!!
n now its healed, i got another knife new one yest..... from LuLu itself....n yeah.... I GOT CUT AGIAN!!!!! n this time on my right hand thumb! not as severe as the first one though..
hmmm..... i have decided to be happy with my old knives oly...
OLD IS GOLD!!!!
